An orthopaedic surgeon specialising in shoulder and upper limb surgery (elbow, wrist and hand), Dr Yannick Roussanne has practised in Montpellier since 2009 at the Orthodoc Méditerranée practice, based at Polyclinique Saint-Roch (OC Santé group).
After his residency and senior registrar post at Montpellier University Hospital, he spent close to two years as a Fellow and then Hospital Practitioner at Nice University Hospital, alongside Professor Pascal Boileau. On his return to Montpellier, he founded the shoulder surgery department of the Orthodoc practice.

Most of my procedures are performed as day-case surgery under the MYSHOULDER protocol (home the same day, with nursing and physiotherapy follow-up). Shoulder and elbow emergencies — dislocation, acute fracture, sports trauma — are managed around the clock at Polyclinique Saint-Roch.
Research, publications and teaching
I have published several papers in international peer-reviewed journals (Arthroscopy, American Journal of Sports Medicine, Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research) and contributed book chapters on shoulder surgery (Cahiers d'enseignement de la SOFCOT, Shoulder Concepts).
